I am excited to inform you that a search firm has been selected and a search committee has been named for the Suzanne Deal Booth Executive Director of the Moody Center for the Arts.
Isaacson, Miller, one of the country’s premier executive search firms, will lead the search for the position, which has been held for the past decade by Alison Weaver. Alison announced in late January that she will leave Rice to become the director of the Grey Art Museum at New York University. Her last day at Rice will be May 1.
Isaacson, Miller has nearly four decades of experience in recruiting senior leaders for some of the top visual and performing arts and cultural organizations, academic medical centers, health care institutions, foundations, pre-K-12 education and education improvement organizations, colleges and universities, social justice advocacy groups, conservation and environment organizations, human services providers, and other mission-driven organizations.
The search committee named to guide and advise Isaacson, Miller will be chaired by Igor Marjanović, the William Ward Watkin Dean of the School of Architecture. Members of the committee are as follows:
