Dear faculty and staff,
Many of our colleagues closed out the academic year celebrating special milestones in their careers, being promoted to a new faculty rank and, for some, achieving tenure. I want to acknowledge all that they’ve accomplished as a community of teachers, researchers and scholars.
It is my pleasure to share with you and recognize these faculty members who have recently been promoted. Their achievements underscore what we already know — our teaching, research, service and leadership matter. Our faculty’s freedom to pursue new knowledge wherever it may lead is central to the success of the university and the advancement of society.
Please join me in congratulating the following faculty members who have made a positive impact on the university, the world and in their professional communities. We look forward to celebrating them at a special reception this fall.
With gratitude and warm regards,
Amy Dittmar, provost and vice president for academic affairs
